Mr. David Elliott is the co-founder of Exiro Minerals, a shareholder (and founding Director).
David has been focused on the Mining Sector for over 40 years and is Director and Founding Partner of Haywood Securities Inc., a Canadian full-service brokerage firm focused on the Mining, Energy and Special situation Sectors with $7 Billion + under management.
He has made a significant contribution to the mining industry by financing many mineral exploration companies, particularly at the early stages. David is known for taking a partnership approach and has partnered with geoscientists to assist them with developing their business model and raising capital from Institutional and Retail investors.
David’s wealth of knowledge around junior company financings and his ability to advise and support junior companies have underpinned the financing success of a significant number of exploration companies. David is known for his long-term views and for the continued support he offers management teams during cyclical highs and lows.
David was recently recognized by the mining industry by receiving the Murray Pezim Award for perseverance and success in financing mineral exploration. David currently serves as Vice-Chairman of Nunavut Resources Corporation and is founding director of GlobeTrotter Resources. His support of Exiro over the last five years has enabled the company to finance and continue to pursue opportunities aggressively.
