Mr. Joshua Bailey is the COO of Exiro Minerals Corp and a director and shareholder. Joshua is a professional Geoscientist with over 20 years’ experience within the exploration and mining industry. Most recently, Joshua was the Vice President Exploration for Wallbridge Mining where his executive responsibilities focused on mineral exploration, corporate development, and investor relations. He has played a key role in identifying and evaluating hundreds of M&A opportunities; negotiating, managing and operating over 23 significant option, JV, and royalty agreements; and securing over $32M in JV partner financing for exploration. His team was also awarded the 2014 Ontario Prospectors Award for their successful exploration program.
Joshua is known for his business minded approach to exploration, his strong leadership abilities, and his passionate and outspoken support for the mining industry. He leads the technical team at Exiro with an appreciation of historical data and traditional exploration approaches combined with modern technology and development.
Joshua is a past President of the Ontario Prospectors Association and Past President of the Sudbury Prospectors and Developers Association has been a director of each since 2011.
Joshua has a B.Sc. (Honours) degree from Memorial University, an M.Sc. from the Mineral Exploration Research Centre at Laurentian University, and an Executive MBA from Athabasca University.
